Bankruptcy Attorney YELP Reviews New York City

We are very proud of all the online reviews and the personal testimonials our law firm receives from past clients. It’s wonderful to hear the positive feedback and to get thanks for a job well done, but as a tool for evaluating bankruptcy attorneys we think people should still be cautious, no matter how great the online reviews for a law firm may be. YELP and similar services are fantastic for finding a restaurant, shoe shop or plumber, but have a serious problem when it comes to reliable bankruptcy attorney reviews. The fact is most people want to keep their bankruptcy private, and are not interested in talking about their experience online. This means legitimate online bankruptcy reviews are harder to come by for a bankruptcy law firm than almost any other business. We have worked hard to earn the positive online reviews we have, but they represent only a fraction of the overjoyed clients we have successfully represented.

Like any successful small business we still primarily rely upon word of mouth advertising to grow our practice. Doing a great job for one person or family always leads to another, because when it comes to bankruptcy people still rely upon the advice of the people closest to them. Most of our clients come from the same network of families, churches and communities in New York City. So while we appreciate the nice reviews on YELP and other places we know our continued success will only come from organic growth.

There was a time we even paid for YELP advertising, but with the steady flow of word of mouth business decided it just wasn’t doing enough to justify the expense. An interesting thing happened when we stopped using their paid advertising service: our reviews were suddenly being filtered out, and were not being featured as prominently as they just were when we were paying them. But since YELP is so “completely unbiased” in their reviews we suppose this was just a coincidental glitch in their system.

We don’t need to play the online review game like some businesses. It doesn’t help a bankruptcy law firm as much unless a firm needs to use the good reviews to drown out an equal number of bad reviews. Our success has come from lots of great people saying good things about us in lots of different places. We strive to give the very best bankruptcy representation to every client at an affordable rate. We maintain a perfect Chapter 7 bankruptcy discharge record in New York City as of 3/7/2014 and have never had a chapter 7 case dismissed to date.

If you are having trouble wading through the online swarms of bankruptcy attorneys and can’t make sense of all the competing reviews from the big bankruptcy mills consider giving us a call instead. We’re a boutique firm with a personal touch and perfect Chapter 7 track record as of 3/7/13.
